I'm think of replacing my Dell ultrasharp 27" TFT monitor with an LED backlit model to improve the blacklevels but am slightly worried that I won't get the performance I need in FPS shooters like MW2, has anyone seen any reviews on the Iiyama LED models? I probably will wait until they release a 27" inch model but hopefully performance should match the smaller screen sizes already out - thanks

The only LED monitor comparable to the U2711 (the one you're using right?) is the Apple LED cinema display.

Its basically the same panel with LED instead of CCFL light, but downside is its glossy gloss.

LED backlight doesn't automatically mean better black levels. That is still dependent on the panel technology.
