Hi,

My ASUS p67 motherboard came this EFI bios and it is truely god-awful. seriously it is beyond shite.

I spent like 6 hours trying to get Arch Linux to register a hard drive with it which didn't work so now fails over to bios, which means it takes ages to get to my actual boost stages.

The design of menus is frankly terrible. 1 setting can be contained under many pages, and changing it in one place doesn't necessarily update it in others (like CPU ratio, where Speedstep is on)

Is there anyway I can remove this [strike]abomination[/strike] abortion and return to a real BIOs until this thing is better supported?

Thanks

Efi bios is pretty cool once u get to know it. There should be option in bios to exit advanced mode which should leave u with something more familiar, either way within your partition manager of your Linux distro there will be option to set type to ext4, swap etc, choose bios and make 2mb
