AT5IONT-I poor performance ?

Hi

Ive just build a new HTPC with a AT5IONT-I motherboard with 3GB of memory and windows 7 pro installed ( This might be a bit overkill, however its the only version i have).

Ive installed all new drivers and install codec's so i could play back H.264 files in WMP 12 (VLC didn't work properly). But to my big disappointment i discovered that when i played movies back in 1080p res, it couldn't do this properly.

I was led to believe that the AT5IONT-I could achive this, am I mistaken or am I missing something. ?

Why doesn't VLC work properly?

Guess its cannot support the HW acceleration for H.264

Got it to run a bit better, installed MPC-HC. It seems to be able to run it smoothly.
