Asus P6T WS Pro wont run Windows 7 cd

Hello,
This is a new built pc with a xeon5680 cpu, 3X6 OCz 1600 platinum dimms wont run bootable win7 dvd. What am I doing wrong?

test your on board dvd controller. disconnect all hard drives and remove all memory except one stick closest to the cpu. if you have multiple. cd/dvds, disconnect all but one. go into the cmos and reset bios to load fail-safe defaults and load optimized defaults, go to advanced bios features and change first boot to boot from the active cd/dvd. Insert windows 7 boot disk and save setup and exit. System should restart and when message reads boot from cd/dvd , press any key, then press enter. If operating system screen appears, the board is able to boot from the cd/dvd drive. If the OS screen does not appear the board's dvd controller is probably bad. Make sure to reconnect everything and then reboot using the bios set to boot from the cd/dvd.
