Hello, I'm looking to build a gaming machine, was thinking about buying it premade but I'm more interesting in saving money right now. I have built one computer before but that was around 10 years ago so I pretty much know next to nothing anymore.... All I really want is a cheap gaming pc that will get me to Diablo3 and whatever I pick up between then and after.
Purchashe Date: Now? Tomorrow?...Soon

Budget Range: ~750

System Usage: Gaming, watching movies/tv.

Parts Note Required: MOnitor, Keyboard and mouse (I have a bad wireless set but for the right price will upgrade, needs to be wireless.)

Parts Required: All the rest....

Preferred Parts Website: Newegg
Country:US

Parts Preference: AMD

Overclocking/SLI or X-Fire: Maybe but probably not

Monitor Resolution: As good as i can get it. May use this as a part time HTPC

I spent a while finding some combos on newegg, I picked this out and its slightly over my budget and I'm not 100% on the compatibility of the parts, any help with that would also be appreciated.

I say you may want to get a cheaper case and use the 39 dollars on something useful
+1 6850 and possibly even dial back on the PSU even the 600 watt OCZ

Thanks, I went with power supply because it was one thing bundled with win7 that I needed.

Okay this is what I have now, can anyone see any compatibility issues with said parts? Went with the 6870 and 650w ps. Grade total $813 with shipping, was thinking about going with the 6850 instead? Newegg is out of stock of all 6850 except the XFX which is $20 more than the sapphire and gigabye?????? Anyway what do you think?

Diablo III is apparently still a year away. Being a Blizzard game, its requirements will not be all that high.
In your place, I would look at some benchmarks of the games you want to play NOW. Unless one of those games is Crysis, or Metro 2033, I suspect you would find a significantly cheaper HD5770 or HD5750 would be strong enough, at least for the next six months; THEN, if you need it, you can upgrade to what will be a cheaper high-end card.

Thanks, thats my end goal :)  I want to play SC2 and maybe some kind of mmorpg... No real strict list of games, I just want the best for the cheapester(dont we all). Basically something that can handle games now and won't be terribly out of date in the near future.
