Condensation and salt crystals

hi recently changed my heatsink from stock to a cooler master V8 noticed my old heatsink had what looks like lime scale and copper corrosion and my new V8apears to be developing salt crystals on one side (intake side) i live close to the ocean but i dont think im close enough to get sea spray if someone can tell me how to upload pics i can show what i mean
