That is a horrible heat sink performance-wise, but its just pretty. :D

If you want the best bang for your buck cooler get this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835124022

It is a rebranded Xigmatek HDT-s1284 which is an excellent cooler that hangs at the high end today.

If you want to go all out get this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835242001

It is probably the best performing heatsink out, but it doesn't come with a fan so you will need to buy that as well.

He said he needed a smaller cooler thats why I suggested the Artic cooler its a decent cooler for its size. You have to make sure if you do get one of those bigger coolers that you will have the space for it those 120mm coolers wont fit in most micro atx cases so check the measurements before purchasing.

I have mid tower case, and micro atx motherboard will it fit? I saw some youtube videos , and it looks like it won't fit in my current case(very little clearance between hsf and psu), but I'm getting a new one ... i just want to know if people use these big coolers with micro atx mobos

The CPU socket tends to be real close to the PSU on Micro ATX boards so clearance might be an issue also check to make sure your case is wide enough even some mid tower cases can't fit those big coolers.

Well you can buy that and trust me or you can buy something inferior. Look at any of the Xigmatek coolers, there are a good few people who aren't getting great temps because they don't know how to apply thermal paste to a HDT heatsink.

The Arctic 7 Cooler rev. 2 shines with Duals. I ( JUST ) bought one online for 21 bucks. I have my E8400 @ 4.0Ghz with 1.35V ( idle is 27C and Full load in prime95 is 59C )

Really couldnt ask for anything better for what I paid. That and its 100% silent, even at 2,500 rpms.

Don't go off of reviews on sites. Do you realize how many tools think they can put PC's togehter LMAO. Its comical.. I work IT support 5 days a week. You'd have no idea.

Hyper 212+ - 29.99

Keep in mind that only comes with a single 120mm fan. For push pull action, you'd need to purchase a 2nd.
