2 things can you do analog 7.1 with the titanium hd ? and its either of the setups I want 5.1 or better of a setup the creative 4.1 would be the back and sides for the 7.1. The logitech would be the center and bass and the corsair would be the front sides.

Another idea i have is take out the logitech and us the bose companion 3 for center and bass and use the sp2500 for the front and creative 4.1 sides and rear.

I really want the hd card but i can't find how you do analog 7.1 or 5.1 witch is why i was going with the z5500 with it. Only thing newegg has that uis digtal in.

What have you compared them to? I always here people say there soo good but what to? Is it better than bose souns? Is the mid range powerful? I have alot of logitech in my home but im not sure if they can make good sound. I heard the 100 dallor 5.1 system and the creative 5.1 for 80 souond'd better. Now i know its a hole different price point. I just dont want to buy the wrong setup. Is the xfi pro that much worse than the Hd card? Becuase i like the idea of making my own 7.1 setup.

Actually, i have heard logitech z-5500's sound and i felt it was good (close to bose sounds but not better).

Xfi Pro and Xfi HD both are good cards.
Xfi Pro is a gaming card with XRAM (which some games uses) and Xfi HD doesnt have XRAM. But, Xfi HD is more suited for movies.
Also, XfiHD is a THX certified card. :wahoo:

So, if you are not playing that much games.. i recommend going for Xfi HD.
