First time pc build. Compatible?

Hi all. I am thinking of building myself a new PC for gaming. This will be my first pc build I have ever done so I could use a little input as to the compatibility and quality of the parts that i have picked out. Will these parts that I have selected work well together.

1) Don't forget to pickup a DVD for you build.

2) I would go with the ASUS Sabertooth X58 over the UD3R. It is the better motherboard IMO.

3) I would just go with the i7 950 over the i7 930 for just a little more money.

The G.SKILL Pi Series linked is a better RAM set. It runs on lower voltage, higher frequency. It's $25 more, but I think it's worth it.

the GTX 470 is 100% not worth it unless you know 100% you wanna SLI

err nm ur board supports both crossfire and sli

so just get a 6870 as it outperforms the 470 and is cheaper and runs cooler

otherwise nice build

The HD 6870 barely outperforms the 470 when it does and a lot of the times, it doesn't outperform the 470.

So the GTX 470 is a solid choice. It's only about $20 more
