will the processor be enough for transcoding with convertxtodvd, the dual core i have right now takes 45min-1hr to transcode a 700mb avi file to dvd. So speed is somewhat of great importance

the consideration for the i7 930 is the overclocking

the i7 950 overclocks just as well as the i7 930, and did you read the reviews on the cpu cooler batuchka suggested, it even outperforms the coolermaster v10 and the scythe is $35
