X-fi Titanium, Dolby Live and subwoofers

Was looking to get an x-fi titanium
For 5.1 sound from games but
Have a question before I go ahead
And get it.
I have read that using dolby live encoding
Routed through the spdif digital optical port
That there is no subwoofer channel.
Is this true?
If get this card will I get a subwoofer channel
Over spdif digital optical with dolby live encoding ?

Windows XP Home
Kenwood Dolby/DTS cabable receiver (sorry don’t have model number)

It *should*, as DDL should do a stright conversion to Dolby Digital, which includes a sub channel in its spec. As I've never bothered with the Titanium, I can't comment whether it does this properly or not...

I think I am going to pick the card today and try it out.
The store accepts returns and is right by my workplace
so I can take it back tomorrow if I'm not happy with it.
