Going to be building my first computer so need part advice.

Approximate Purchase Date: Sometime this month.

Budget Range: $750 (including OS).

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Games and the ability to stream them well.
Parts Not Required: Keyboard and mouse and monitor

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg
Country of Origin: USA

Parts Preferences: none

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No

Monitor Resolution: 1680 and up

    1.Is a 550W PSU really enough for the 6870 in the first build?
    2.Sorta read mixed stuff about biostar motherboard, any other opinions about this specific motherboard?

    Other then that I really like the first build.

  3. 1. 550W would easily suffice for a single HD 6870.

    2. Biostar boards are OK for normal usage, but if you want a better brand, then change to this -
    955 + ASUS 870A

    2. Had build with it and other/most brands - good to go but dun expect it to perform like a $140 board :lol:
