How do i connect CAT5e networking cable

Hello,
I have 2 laptops. One is on a docking station with the phone lines connected. How do I attach a 2nd laptop using a CAT5e networking cable?

Between two computer's network ports you usually need a crossover cable.

Presumably you would like to access Internet on the second computer via the cable to the first computer.
