You will want a secondary hard drive like the Samsung Spinpoint F3 500GB for storage, unless you plan to reuse an old hard drive.

What PSU are you using for this new build, unless I'm missing it??

Not a fan of the H50. I would go with a good air cooler instead & get the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus.

I have a couple of HDD's from previous comp. For PSU im reusing my corsair 750w. I bought the h50 because everyone says its quiet. I also like the look of the block rather than a brick air cooler.

Question: I plan on loading win7 64 onto the SSD but one of my old HDDs was the boot drive on the previous comp. As long as i set the boot drive as the SSD there should be no conflict, right?

Correct... As long as you install Win7 on the SSD & have it selected as the boot drive, you will be just fine

May I ask why you're getting triple channel RAM for a board that won't support it? It's also rather expensive.... Just to put things into perspective, Newegg has a Mushkin 2x4GB set for $110 with free shipping. If you want more than 4GB, get two sets of 2x2GB dual-channel RAM, or a 2x4GB set.

Ya, my goof. I swear I saw tri channel on the mobo specs. So I tried the promo code but it didn't work. I'm getting that mem anyways, thanks for the heads up. Also, peer pressure is a bastard and I went with the 212. I read up on it.
