So I was told that I was being a dumbass for wanting a i7 950, and that some sandy bridge was more awesome! So which sandy bridge can I get for the price of an i7 950? Will it be better?

I have both. My 2600K is running at 4.4ghz, my 950 is running at 3.4. Honestly I haven't tried to push the 950, but the 2600K on the Asus pro board was too easy!
