Hi there, I've decided to start playing Final Fantasy 14 when it comes out later this month but i need a new graphics card to run it. Here are my system specs:

Motherboard: Winfast NF4UK8AA

Processor: Processor:
2.00 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core
256 kilobyte primary memory cache
1024 kilobyte secondary memory cache
64-bit ready

Current Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce 7900 gt/Gto

I am using Windows 7 and have 2 gigs of ram.

When i ran the Final Fantasy 14 benchmark my score was 581 and my load time was 86745 MS. I was unable to see the video at all.

you will need a CPU upgrade to go along with your GPU upgrade, also 4GB of RAM would be recommended to go with Win 7.

edit: your mobo is socket 939 so you are basically looking at a new build with new mobo, ram, cpu, gpu.

The systems pretty balances as is, upgrading just the GPU will be held back by the CPU and maybe RAM also. Try updating your drivers as you should at least see the video of the demo.

I would suggest a system overhaul, how much do you want to spend?

How much exactly do you want to spend then?

Not much more than around $400.00. I'm going to end up getting a new rig by January and letting a buddy of mine use this one.
