It's an OEM card and a low power one at that.

I'm guessing it's comparable with the GT220 by looking at the specs, 2GB on a card of this level is pointless though but it looks good to the sort of people who buy Dell and HP type prebuilt boxes.

the 2GB is a gimmick to help sell PCs. Most consumers have no clue what the GT 220 or ATI 4650 is but they know 1GB is more then 512mb so therefore it must be faster.

here's some info on it, don't hold your breathe for any benchmarks since its an OEM card.

"It is most likely to be GF108 based, like the to-be-release GeForce GT 430, but with half its 96 SP shaders disabled. Unfortunately, it is a very minor upgrade, at best, to the Geforce GT 220, and in some ways a step back from the Geforce GT 320 (also OEM). The biggest problem for Nvidia, though, is the ATI Radeon HD 5550, which should perform better, consume less power (40W TDP), and has passive and low-profile options available, making it the ideal HTPC card"

according to my opinion( which is in no way expert ) it looks like to compete with 5570ddr3, but off course the power consumption is 10 watt higher..... i hope when the retail version is out they will include the passive cooler and according to the pic it is looking like a low profile card......

For now this will be oem only till they are produced in mass for the low end market. Sure it will be a upgrade over a crappy GT220 but only that. Compared to other cards it is weak. I suggest going with something that is actually worthwhile.

apart from the gtx series all gts series and the gt's are not meant for gaming at all.
the gt 220 is faster than an 8400 GS but bot of them can't even run games so what's the point of releasing these cards for gaming? and as for 2gb memory
the gt 220,420 can't even play games at 1280 rez so the memeory is useless.

The advantage of the Memory is to use this card on a computer that runs several monitors at high resolutions for business applications. There has been mentions in the past on NVidia's website that more memory was added to low power cards for this reason These cards were never intended for gaming.
