8800GT tampered with??
hi there, im just wondering about the voltages of my 8800gt,, im using rivatuner monitor and at the bottom it says sensor supply voltage @ 3.26v. what does this mean and is it normal?? i got this card s/hand so im wondering if this is right...anyone with experience of the 8800gt voltages could help?
Timop said:The reading is for the +3.3v Voltage control chip IIRC, so its perfectly normal.
The 8800GT core is designed to run at 1.05/1.15v, It would have burned long before reaching 3.28v
Thanks for this bit of info just that its stock settings seem odd to all other sparkle models i can find 661/1674/945.
these are sparkle models iv found and my model number matches a stock one.
Sparkle 8800gt 512mb - CALIBRE P888 - 675/1728/900
Sparkle 8800gt 512mb - SF-PX88GT512D-HP - 600/1500/900
Sparkle 8800gt 512mb Cool Pipe3 - SF-PX88GT512D3-HP - 600/1500/900
Why could mine be different?? it has the same code as the cool pipe3 model yet has no heatpipe cooler on it.
Timop said:Is that the stock clocks? Check with GPUz.
If you bought it used, It may have a flashed BIOS. What cooler do you have?
