New PC build check

Hello all,

I am building a new gaming PC. I want to try to overclock (for the very first time), and I am just not sure if these specs will run together.

+ i7-950
+ GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R
+ XFX Radeon HD 6870 900MHZ 1GB 4.2GHZ
+ Corsair XMS3 TR3X6G1333C9 6GB

+ OCZ StealthXStream 2 700W ATX12V
+ Western Digital WD20EARS Caviar Green

maybe u want to change hdd, for a samsung f3 1tb drive. its much faster. and you dont have a case, i suggest a coolmaster haff 912

or a haf 922 if u want some growing room!

btw if you wanna overclock get an aftermarket heatsink

id suggest a Hyper 212+

This ram is better. runs at 1600 on lower voltage and with lower latency. It's cheaper, too.

I already have a case, that's why I didn't mention it. It is a CM690II.

What do you think of this harddrive. It is the same price as Samsung spinpoint f3 1tb, except bigger.

Also, another question, is 700W enough?

Corsair XMS3 TR3X6G1333C9 6GB is only $85 at my retail store. I don't think I am willing to spend double for the improvement. Unless I am missing something.

oh wow. Nevermind, then. Also, you don't want the 7200.11 drives from Seagate. I don't know the specifics, but a lot of people had problems with those drives. If you want a Seagate, 7200.12s are better.
