  1. Turn off caps-lock, re-type the entire post so it makes some sense then maybe we can help.

g60-231wm laptop has only power jack light on...followed no boot instuctions-no luck... want to determine if on/ff/wlan button board is working or if mb is bad. thank -you. why were caps a problem?
  3. Just encountered this problem. HP G60-535DX would not power on, but the power jack light was on. Putting it here in case anyone else has the same problem.

    This worked for me:
    - Disconnect the power supply
    - Remove the battery
    - Press the power button for 20 seconds to drain any residual power.
    - Reattach the battery
    - Plug the power supply in
    - Press the power button

CAPS LOCKS ARE HARD TO READ - IS THE ONLINE EQUIVALENT OF SHOUTING - AND IS CONSIDER JUST PLAIN RUDE ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE ASKING FOR HELP.

I'd previously re-seated the memory - not sure if that had anything to do with the problem. If above doesn't work, re-seat the memory and repeat above.
  4. Do you happen to still have the schematics for the G60?
