So i hear sdd is the way to go for boot up time and i have just aquired my new pc but, seeing as its new i would like to keep the whole process safe!
by keeping windows on both the hdd and sdd.

The sdd in question will be a flash drive, a maxell 8gb.

how can i copy all the things nessicary for this to the sdd?

As i said im wanting to leave a copy on my hdd too so at any point i can switch back.

Also, what will i actually need to copy over? drivers aswell as windows?

And lastly is there any free software to help, thankyou!

That is not an SSD, it's a USB pen-drive, and anyway 8GB is nowhere near enough space for that task.

Booting your PC & starting Windows via USB would take far longer than booting from a hard drive.

An SSD is one of these: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/solid-state-drives/715_75...
