My UT2004 has been crashing a lot latly. Last time I played it, my PC reboot
it for no reson. After restarting the game, it was not responding to the
keyboard. Keyboard works fine in WinXP.
Pressing ESC or any keys, no response in UT, mouse works fine. Went into the
setup menu, I was only able to setup a few keys, like forward etc..., the
other menu slots not responding either. Strange.
Also, I got suspicious when I started the game, it was asking me to choose a
player and setup the network.
Do I have to re-install the game again or maybe some of the .ini file got
corrupted and can be fixed or copied over from the CD?

Thanks, JS

Although the keyboard seems to work fine in XP, don't assume the
keyboard is OK. The only way to know for sure is to swap in another
known good keyboard.

It's been said that cleaning the cache folder out can help with a
lot of problems but in your case I don't know. I don't have the
game and am only going on what I've read about it so please take
my words with a grain of salt over your left shoulder....or is
that the right shoulder?

Keyboard works fine. Game program some where lost what input device to use
due to the crash, may be in the .ini file some where.
