GT 240 x2 vs 5670 HD

I'm looking for a cheap effective upgrade to play on my new 24" wide-screen LCD at 1920 x 1080 resolution.

EVGA GT 240 512MB GDDR5 x2 $90 for both
or
5670 1GB GDDR5 HD $90 for Gigabyte or $100 for XFX

2x GT240 are more powerful than a single HD5670.
But i don't like to SLI two weak cards like GT240.
You will better with a single powerful card like GTS250... Or if you don't have money right now, save a little bit, even GTS250 is still struggle running at 1920x1080.

Yes you can, but that card (GT240) is not strong enough to run 24" wide-screen LCD (if you want to gaming).
