Last response: in Storage

Hello, does intel smart response put the entire program in the cache or does it only place the relevant files which it needs to access? Say I'm playing a game which frequently accesses maps in the HDD. Does SRT place the whole game in the SSD cache or would it only place the map files there?

Smart Response does not work by file or program. It stores data by LBA (hard drive logical block address) for data that is read or written frequently. The SSD space will fill up with the most used data and purge stuff that is not used as frequently.
