Choice of processor for MOBO

Hello, I am planning to buy an asrock MOBO type 870 Extreme 3, Socket AM3+, DDR3, ATX.

I would like to fit a processor type AMD Phenom II X4, 840, 3.2GHz. Quad-Core, 95W, Core name DRAGON.
Manufacturers ID HDX840WFGMBOX.

The processor list for the MOBO does list a Phonom II X4 3.2 GHZ ID HDX840WFK42GM Core name PROPUS.
This seems very similar to the one I have chosen, but slightly different.

I should be most grateful if anyone can assure me that the core DRAGON processor will work ok in this MOBO

Yes, it will work. That MB will support all Phenom II processors 2-6core up to the 1100T currently.

it says on the first line that it will support up through the 6 core AMD's

The 'Bulldozer' won't be listed until it's officially released, but I'm confident they all be listed BUT will require a BIOS upgrade for CPUID info so the CPU works properly.
