Do I need dedicated vRAM?

I'm looking at buying a laptop and one of my friends suggested getting dedicated vRAM, but it really hikes up the price. I'm planning to watch a few movies and I use Youtube a lot, but I know my friend is a bit of a gamer. Should I get a laptop with the dedicated vRAM or will shared be fine? Thanks in advance.

  1. Are you a gamer?
    Or do you play games?
If not then you don't need dedicated graphic card, onboard graphic is more than enough for your need... :)
  2. ^ yep. No games, no dedicated card.
