HI i would like a few suggestions about a new budget gaming rig for my friend here. His budget is strictly 20k. He just bought a 18.5"AOC led monitor and 1366*768 is the resolution he is going to game at. Where we live the least possible street prices are :

Athlon2 x3 440 for 3.4k (other x3models are just obsolete here :(  )
Phenom2 x2 550 for 3.9k (the phenom2 555 is also obsoltete :(  )
Athlon2 x4 635 for 4.1k

Asus M4n68tm for 2.4k (i dont know the MSI/Biostar prices but they are available)
GigabyteMa74gmT for 2.5k
AsusM4n68tmLE for 2.7k

Corsair 2gb ddr3 1333mhz for 1.8k
kingston 2gb ddr3 1333mhz for 1.9k
strontium/diginet 2gb ddr3 1333mhz for 1.65k

XFX 5750 1gb for 7.8k
XFX 5770 1gb for 9k
XFX 4770 512mb for 7.2k (only 1 piece left in 1 shop only.. :p )
XFX 4850 1gb for 8.5k (only 1 piece left in 1 shop only.. :p )
XFX 4830 512mb for 6.5k (only 1 piece left in 1 shop only.. :p )
MSI 5670 1gb for5.9k

XFX GTS 250 512mb for 7.6k
XFX 9800GT for 5.7k
XFX 9800GTX+ for around 7k(not exact)
GT450 yet not available

Now which of the above would combine to give the best possible frame rates in games. We play a lot of FPS and metro2033, warhead, battlefield2, avp are to name a few. Games are mainly what he will use his PC for. I have not considered intel as an option as the mboard+processor for i3 leaves vry little money for the graphics card. But please suggest if there is an option with i3. I have targeted the zebronics real watts 600w (2.7k) for the PSU as cooler master is very expensive(1k more). Also is 2gb RAM enough for the system or is 4gb needed? Lastly i would have to look for a cabinet with what i have left from the 20k.

CPU - The X3 or the Phenom X2

Mobo - Get a slightly better chipset...I think you can get the Biostar 785G board in the 3000-4000 INR range...

RAM - Get a single 2 GB Corsair stick for now as you can add 1 more later on...

GPU - HD 5670 -> For 1366x768, this would be powerful enough for any FPS game out there...
OR see if you can fit in more powerful card in the budget...

just wanted to ask that what is the actual use of the chipset when im using dedicated GPU? is the 785G faster or more reliable/efficient than the other lower end boards??

^ Forgot to mention the 770 chipset too...
It is not about the onboard but the SB that comes along with these chipsets, these boards can even handle CPUs above 95W TDP for eg, some of the Phenom II X4 and the X6s, also not to forget core unlocking(Needs ACC which is present only on SB710 and above chipsets), though it is a hit or miss, but is well worth a try...
