Main concern is that the motherboard is a bit el cheapo and i will have issues overclocking.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Well, even my old T61 thinkpad 1.8 ghz core duo can multi-table if i'm only using HUD, albeit a bit sluggishly.
However, i generally run pokersoftware/HEM/mikogu/skype/music or simulations when i'm doing schoolwork, so it wouldn't hurt to have more cores. The 955/965 would be enough, but I think i'll be getting better value through the 1055t. It's only $35-40 more than the 955/965 BE.
A SSD would also make HEM run faster, but it's something i can add in the future.

For gaming the video card is much more important than the CPU.
