The Hawk is the best imo. The cooler is better and quieter than the CUCore and the Vapor-X doesn't allow for voltage control of the core for the best overclock.

i would reconsider what your saying. its impossible for a 5770 to max out Metro. what fps are you getting?

No, MSI has really stepped up their game in the last year or so.

XFX and Asus might be a little more high quality, but they are all really good.

It can max out metro, but depends on what resolution. Anyway, metro is a nice game but they did a s'''' job on it's optimization. Wile i was climbing the tower i suddenly got 13fps in a view where not much was showed.

I have a vapor-x version and if you do not really care about overclocking it is great, you can not hear the cooler at all, in any conditions and stays cool. And i hate that i can not modify the voltage for overclocking. I got stable at 960 core and 1350 ram.

gtx260 is kind of on par with 5770 slightly overclocked. That is what he was trying to point out i think, no offense g00fysmiley but i own a 5770 and i know what it can do. I play at 1280x720 DX11 with everything on almost max(AF and AA are not set to max) and all DX11 futures enabled.
Let's stop with the off.

I also support jyjjy suggestion if you want to buy a 5770 and overclock it. If not the vapor-x.

the problem is that METRO is TWIMTBP and bcoz of physx nvidia cards will kick ass.I own a 4890 but for some weird reason it gets lower frame rates in metro 2033 than my MSI GTX 260 CORE 216 1792MB SINGLE CARD SUPERCLOCKED WITH PHYSX ON HIGH AND AAA.Think its bcoz of the vram of my 260 1792 mb as compared to 4890 1GB.Also these cards max out every game out there at 1680X1050 so a 5770 is also a excellent card.Hell my gtx 260 MAXES CRYSIS WARHEAD ALL ENTHUSIAST 2XAA AT 29 40 FPS.So I would expect a 5770 to perform just as good.And when a card can max crysis warhead ar decent frame rates its guranteed you are future proofed at ur resolution.lol.So stop underestimating the 5770.Even in metro at 1680 1050 all it cannot max is tesselation and depth of field and with both enabled it is UNplayable even on a single 5970.

@sashika.Buy the vapor-x or HAWX.Its a great card.u won't regret ur purchase

ok well confusion here is when i mean "maxed" i mean every setting as high as it can go. namely AA, AF, Resolution, DX11. etc not just regular settings maxed. yes i can put the regular settings on max but i have to run it in DX10 with a low resolution. and then it gets annoying because whenever theres that smoke/light (whatever its called) the fps just cuts in half.. i dont blame the card, its a great card. i just blame the games poor optimization.



yes the Msi Hawk is one of the best 5770's. dont worry its a good card

yea but starting with crysis poor game optimization has resulted in people said zomg the game is aseom a high end computer can only run it maxed at 15fps its so ahead of its time... when its really just bad programming, but what can ya do.

and i meant no disrespect to the 5770 its a good card and better than mine (8500gt) but dx11 max in metro it just can't push the inefficient program that benchmark tool... errr game. still bet it looks nice though on a 5770, my next build will actually either be cx 5770's or maybe sli 460's ... but waiting another year for bulldozer

never run benchmark tools in games.They are not representative of actual gameplay.In GTA 4 the benchmark tools tells me an average of 63fps.But when measured with fraps during the whole day in the game it was 47fs.Even in crysis.It tells me an average of 24fps when i easily get 29-40 in the game.
