I have a Nikon coolpics 3200 w/ a 256 card in it. When we use it to shoot
video there is an annoying clicking / tapping sound in the back ground.
Would anyone know what this is and how to fix it if it can be? We shot part
of a wedding and when we played it back you couldn't even hear them
talking - only the click sound. Same went for other short videos we tried to
shoot to show people. I know it's not a camcorder or anything but for short
stuff to show people, I'd like them to hear it too.

Opened OK for me.
It has to do with Continuous AutoFocus being hard at worh while you
record. Make it Single AutoFocus and see what happens.

Thanks! I will try this tonight!! Hopefully it's an easy menu thing to
change.
Jim
I assume I must have an IE setting that won't allow this link to open. I
will have to look into what that may be so I can change it. I too since
tried the link on another PC and got it to open but it didn't list the 3200
in the list of fixes.

I am a newbie to newsgroups but when I first got this camera and had a
couple of questions someone pointed me to this NG. I asked a couple
questions and was amazed at how people knew and were able to help me then
too. I was so thankful / grateful for their help. Heck - I would have bought
dinner! Since then I look on occasion for subjects that interest me. I can't
help much (Well I can now if anyone asks this question). I see a new NG for
point and shoot - that's more me (For now) so I have that one book marked. I
even learned how to find replies to me after they leave my ISP as I had no
idea and waited a week to look for answers the first time I posted. That
wasn't easy! Someone on this group told me how thru Google. Wish I could get
the replies to me or an alert that some replied?
