Overclocking with a ASUS Sabertooth p67

I am currently running my System at stock speed for the processor with the standard Intel Heat sink. I want to push my systems limits on the processor.

I want to know what Processors Heat Sink and Fans setup you guys recommend with this particular motherboard and its thermal armor.

I want to push limits but also have a stable overclock for the longevity of the system.

My current specs are:

Processor: Intel Core i7 2600k
Mobo: ASUS Sabertooth P67 with Thermal Armor
RAM: 8GB Dual Chanel Kingston HyperX T1 kit
Video Card: manufacturer overclocked Gigabyte GTX 580
HDD: 600GB Sata III Velociraptors
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Power Supply: 1Kw Cooler Master Silent Pro
Case: Coolermaster HAF X

With stock HSF - no OC at all...

I personally have and really like the Cooler Master V6GT, although it is a *large* unit, keeps things super cool.

If you want to really push the envelope, put it on water. There are a couple dedicated loops from Corsair that do the job very effectively, and don't need any maintenance since they are a closed, sealed loop.

It depends on 'How Much $' you care to spend. Part of the reason I water block both the CPU and GPU(s) is part cooling and part noise; a simple loop is going to cost you ~$500+ whereas 'snap-ons' like Corsair H100 $120 or Thermaltake Frio $60 and cool your CPU only.

I have been looking into a waterblock solution for the cooling, and in the videos provided through the link I saw that they did use a closed loop water cooling solution from corsair the H100 i believe. I will have to look into that further it sound like an interesting solution.

Yes, the H100 is a closed system and as complex as installing any HSF; simple.

I also mentioned a 'real' water cooling system.
