Hi all,
I really hope someone can help me.
I Have a Aspire X3200, I turned it on today and was greeted with normal bios loading screens then it goes to a 'windows is loading files' message with a loading bar down bottom of screen. Nothing moves on the bar, then it goes to an 'error 0xc000e9' screen, part of which reads 'cannot connect to a device on your computer, plesase contact hardware manufacturer.

A few other points I have noticed is that during BIOS load a message which reads:

AMD data change updata data to DMI.

All recovery disks (vista recovery and original vista disk) just lead to black screen and mouse pointer, no ctr alt del works from there
Tried ubuntu 10.10 live, which just hangs
UBCD doesnt detect hdd, but its listed in BIOS

Any ideas please.
Much thanks

Splendid
Disconnect as many things as you can and try booting with one stick of RAM.

Reconnect things one boot at a time.

Test RAM with Memtest86.

If possible check your HDD with another machine.

Erm....

Yeah, that lot for now and post back.
