Yeah looks fine! If you are going to add a whole lot of stuff like SLI cards or anything down the road you could go to a more powerful PSU just in case while you are shopping. Maybe a 750 would be a good idea?

Other than that it's a pretty popular start. I don't think you would be unhappy with any of your choices.

Just combine what you have with some good RAM and have fun gaming.

Hey Again,

I agree with the RAM choice that atotalnube recommended. Good Stuff. As far as the graphics card goes I would have a look at the new 6800 series. A totalnube is right its worth a look. Toms just did a great profile this week on the series. The 460 card are great though and people love them as well. If you are thinking about getting multiple cards I would probably go with Nvidia option. If you are getting only one card and was good long term back for your buck get the 6870. Its worth saving a few extra dollars for. I wish I had one!

thanks for the help guys, my budget is 500 pounds but im just going to splash out a tad more, as for the graphics card, the 6870 is a bit expensive, the 6850 is 50 pounds cheaper, how bigs the difference between them? is the 6870 worth making my wallet lighter?
