How to remove files from wd passport essential

how do I remove everything from my passport so I can start over?

Reformat it:

Start > Run
Type diskmgmt.msc
Press <Enter>

In the bottom panel, find the bar which represents the Passport drive.
Right-click on it, choose "Format".

If the drive has more than one partition, right-click each one and choose "Format"
(you can only format one partition at a time).
