    Your ram looks like a triple channel kit. Don't make a mistake if you can only support dual channel.

    Don't buy that card the new 6850 is better for the same money. If you can afford it get the 6870.
  2. i have refined the computer a little bit. but i was think of going with windows vista home edition 64 bit or 32 bit.

  3. 1) for 4gb of ram running at 1600, $130 is alot, check out g.skill
    2) better mobo: p7p55d-e pro
    3) get windows 7 x64 oem edition: $99 -> 100x better than vista
    4) you dont need a 850w psu, even if crossfiring, 750w by corsair for >$100 will be fine.
    5) you should be able to squeeze in another gpu with your budget easily.

    +1, and try to drop the mouse and keyboard, expensive keyboards, and mice do look cool, but they take up a large amount of the budget, get a couple cheap ones (or better yet reuse your old ones... I got a 4 dollar mouse that is better then my mates 70 dollar, and my even hsa LEDs....
  5. oh and add a HDD
    WESTERN DIGITAL 320gig Scorpio Blue 5400rpm 8meg Cache SATA Model: WD3200BPVT $60

    Total come to $1659.00
  6. ehh id stay away from that...thats pretty expensive for a 320gb hdd, plus its 5400rpm so it'll be slow. Try the spinpoint f3 1tb for $65 or 70 or the 500gb model for 55.

    Where are you getting these parts from may i add?
