Hey everybody,

I'm looking for some critique on this gaming build I have planned. I would like to keep it close to what the total is now, and less would be great. The only thing that I have is a heat sink - cooler master hyper 212. Here's what I have in my cart, and a couple of these are combo deals.

CPU: AMD Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition Callisto 3.2GHz - $88.99

Mobo: ASUS M4A78T-E AM3 - $114.99

RAM: G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) - $74.99

Graphics: MSI N460GTX Cyclone 768D5/OC GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 768MB - $164.99

HD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s - $54.99

Case: Cooler Master Storm Scout - $79.99

PSU: OCZ ModXStream Pro OCZ600MXSP 600W ATX12V V2.2 - $74.99

DVD Drive: LG 22X DVD Burner - $16.99

Total: $633.92 (before s/h & rebates)

Please give me any opinions and suggestions you may have.
Thanks, Mike

Yeah, I hope I get lucky, and can unlock 2 more cores. And thanks for the suggestion I think I'll get that gpu. I just liked the the aesthetics of the cyclone(kinda dumb reason).

really nice PSU but it is more expensive but thats a good deal

That thing is a beast, but I don't have the money. Do u think that the ocz psu is alright? I've not heard many good things about ocz products, but this is in the budget, and it's modular.

mike: you MIGHT get extra cores (only about 50% unlock any, and most of those that do, only get 1 extra) might as well go for the guaranteed 3/4 cores.

You can also get the Phenom II X3 740BE for the same 88.99, but it will need a separate cooler, a Kingwin XT-1264 runs about $25 and a CoolerMaster Hyper 212+ runs about $30, both of which will allow great overclocks.

I'd go for the sapphire because it exausts heat OUTSIDE the case instead of into the case

Thanks, I think I'll get the sapphire.
Where can I find info on the airflow of the card?
