Will 512 MB Graphics card be good enough

I want to buy a new Graphics card. I intend to play all the latest games. The problem is that I am a bit short in cash. So I may have to settle with a 4650 or 4350 with memory 512 MB.

My question is will a graphics card with 512MB memory be good enough to play the latest games and also cover the games in the near future???
