I've been wanting to build a new computer for a while now. I came up with a list of parts that are within my budget and should work well together. I just wanted someone to double check if they are compatible before I buy them.

The psu militia will slaughter you for that psu :)
Change it to a corsair or Antec unit quick :)
Not sure why a dual core in this day and age, but it's your call,
should be a functional little rig for surfing/light gaming though,
What is your intended plan for this pc?
and an idea of budget limit, ppl might come up with better for less :)

Why do you wanna get an old Intel LGA775 system?
I would recommend AMD AM3 system for budget built instead of that.

Sorry, this is my first time building a computer. My budget is around $450 and I want it to be able to record game footage while streaming for the most part. I already have a graphics card and OS so I don't need those.

How about this for a power supply?

That's definitely a huge improvement over your previous one.

I figured I'd have to change the motherboard.

The parts I picked out are a major upgrade to what I have now and seem like good parts. So I would rather stick with them unless there was a problem (which would be great to know.)

Well if you go for that chip and mobo I reckon you'll be onto a reasonable thing, only reason I said about the new build sheet was so we know budget and intended uses, could be we can build a great rig for less money, other than that, just doublecheck the memory is supported by mobo and chip,

Thanks guys, I'll buy the parts soon and try to build it without pouring vodka on the motherboard.

It wouldn't hurt it any tbh, although it would be a waste of vodka hehe,
plus your pc may develop taste for stolichnaya and refuse to work unless you pour more on it :p
g.l. man and let us know when your ready to build :)
