Well guys, I got my build all together, plugged it all up, and hit the power switch on the PSU. Green LED on the motherboard came on, no luck hitting the power button.

As far as what I did/checked:
PSU:
20+4 Pin Connector is in
2x2 Pin Connected

Mobo:
RAM plugged into dimm slots A0 and A1 (not the B slots)
CPU mounted in proper direction, secured properly
CPU fan on securely, plugged in
Rear fan plugged in
SATA plugs are in
Front panel (power switch, hdd led, etc) all are in

Only odd things I noticed was that there was nothing to plug into the 1394a and S/PDIF ports on the motherboard, not sure if those are necessary though. Oh, and all of my fans are three plug, mobo spots are 4.

Specs are:
Intel i5 670
Intel DP55WB mobo
Thermaltake SpinQ CPU fan
500GB HDD
OCZ 700W

Thanks ahead of time, if I forgot to mention something let me know!

Sorry, I forgot to post back. Right after posting this I solved it, and reading the link you'd posted, its quite funny to be the second one.

I went through and checked every PSU cable (assuming that it was the problem rather than jumping to saying DOA!) I had put the 2x2 connector in upside down, so it wasn't quite in all the way.

Thanks!

Not a problem at all. If my WLAN card hadn't died I'd have already posted up the final build pictures! Right as I went to submit it went out, had to RMA.

Soon as I see a new one I'll be able to post it up!
