Hard-drive turned RAW and un-accesible

Dear Experts,

I had a Sony personal laptop that has a 500 GB Hitachi bootable hard-drive. The laptop is faulty after a human error "fell down". So i've extracted the hard-drive and tried to access my data to pull it out to a safe place, however all 3 partitions are RAW and inaccessible. After connecting the 500 GB hard drive to my MAC lion via a HDD dock, it took at least 15 minutes until one of the partitions appeared with all the files. However the hard-drive was extremely SLOW, whenever i try to pull out anything it give me an error (36).

How can i pull out all of my information in my EXTREMELY SLOW hard-drive that says RAW as a format?
