I was wondering if my motherboard on my HP Pavilion a6000n (Asustek M2N68-LA Narra1) is compatible with an AMD 64 X2 6000+ 95w model. I think it might be compatible but the HP website said it can only support up to the x2 5600+ (95w) but since the x2 6000+ has a 95w model I'm kind-of unsure, and would like to hear your input.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Where the problem really lies is whether or not your motherboard's BIOS Version supports the AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 95W ADA6000IAA6CZ.

Since the BIOS is OEM only HP can tell you for sure.
