$20 cheaper, but non modular and 80+ bronze instead of silver, im curious if this is based on a slightly different platform from seasonic or from a different OEM. I would still pay the extra $20 to get the black edition for the 5 year warranty and the modular cables. Hopefully jonnyguru will do a review of it soon so we can have a direct comparison of it to the black edition. I dont think XFX would have opted to significantly drop quality for their second line up so should still be quite good.

Looking at that kit guru review it looks to be a different platform, im not sure which one.

Looks nice with 840 watts available for the +12 volts!

Good readng from Kitguru review anyway, they pushed it to 923 watts

And good efficiency

The XFX power supply is manufactured by Seasonic and it is a very clean internal design. This is a DC to DC Converter Design to provide enhanced Dynamic response while ensuring system stability and maximum 12VDC rail output.

Pity its non modular.
