Dead computer

After a storm computer would not boot, completely dead. Fitted new power supply and there is a green light on the asus p5ld2-x motherboard and there is a blue light just below the on switch but when the on switch is pressed nothing happens. Any ideas gratefully received.

next check= is the switch. remove the clip on mobo for the power switch header and short the pin to trip. If mobo still no go then mobo is DEAD>.
