Corsair standard vengeance vs low profile vengeance

Besides the heatspreaders ,is there any performance loss in the low profile model?

No not if they have same timings!

If you are comparing the same capacity and memory timings the only difference is the heat spreader and the part number programmed into the SPD EEPROM. They both sell for the same price.

I am currently using the Vengeance Low Profile Blue — 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 Memory Kit (CML8GX3M2A1600C9B). They operate fine at their advertised specs.
