Looking For New Mobo

ok so here is my current build

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 @ stock clock
Motherboard: M4A89GTD-PRO/USB3
Memory: DDR3 8gb 4x 2gb
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6970 2gb


as you probably noticed or if not then ill tell u.. my current mobo has only 1x PCI-E x16. it does have 2 slot of PCI-E but if u use both it will be 2 x8 not 2 x16 and i will probably buy another 6970 to crossfire with current one.. so i need knew mobo that has 2x PCI-E at x16 speed and is compatible with my current CPU any suggestion? if there is really non then i dont mind buying new cpu for new mobo.. intel/amd doesn't matter

and another question... if i crossfire 2x 6970 will my cpu be too slow? i mean will it drag my GPU down and not reaching it's full potential? or will this cpu be enough?

You shoudn't expect a significant performance difference if you replace your motherboard unless you run at a very high resolution. No matter what component you replace, there will always be a bottleneck.
