What is downloading?

How can I identify whatever seems to be downloading 200mb every 24 hrs? I am not aware of any downloads other than the updates.

How and where are you detecting this download ?

Have a look at Windows Start-Up and see if anything unexpected is loading itself every time you start Windows.

Other things to look at -- some anti-virus programs download new definitions routinely.

Have you tied running anti-spyware program -- might catch whatever's happening.

200mb in 24 hrs makes 2kb/s.

That's looks reasonable, if you have a wireless installed it's probably just communication between your wireless adaptor and router.
