My hdd in the caddy is not working

Hello,
i put my hdd in caddy and i doesnt show it on the computer as if it is not there. my caddy is new!!!! when i do remove safly it does show it as toshiba. pls help me email yto: sipureisafta@gmail.com

Check the BIOS to see if it shows up there. If it does not then recheck your drive connections. If it is a new drive and has never been formatted then you will need to go to disk management and format the new drive.

yeah if its a new drive and yet not formatted, format the drive by going to Right click my computer icon on your desktop then Manage from the list choose Disk Management, see if its there, and also try to change its letter to something which is not used before.

also make sure you can see the drive information in bios.
