No hard disk detected xp

Hello, im having a problem with my laptop. when i turned it on, a message appear that the windows system32 is missing ore corrupted so i tried to use windows xp installer to repair it but when i clicked the repair button a message appeared saying "set up did not find any har disk drives installed in this computer."

pls help me to solve this

When doing a repair install you first select install then when windows reports a previous install you select repair. If this is what you did. Remove and reinstall the hard disk and try again! If that does not work the hard drive looks to be bad.
