My monitor resolution is not available. Fixed!

Hello,
I have a widescreen monitor with a 1600 x 1024 native resolution. I worked fine when I have Win XP. Now I am on Windows 7. It will not let me change the resolution the message I get is this: Resolution can not be changed your screen height is less than 16 pixels? I am confused. I am stuck with a blown up screen where all the images are at least 2x normal size. The current resolution is only in the 600 range. Any suggestions.

Well, you must install the correct driver for win 7. Driver for XP are different for win 7.
