I am using a laptop with 2G RAM ( 1G in each slot). I want to upgrade to 4G total ( 2G in each).
I used Crucial, it list both DDR3 PC3-10600 and DDR3 PC3-8500 for me to buy. I also used CUP-Z and found some info on my laptop:

Fujitsu Lifebook T5010
Processor: Interl(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo CPU, P8600 @ 2.40 GHz, (2CPUs), ~2.4 GHz.
Memory: Dual Channel, DC mode symmetric, type DDR3, DRAM frequency 531 MHz.

My question is:
1. Is it possible to find out for sure my laptop will support DDR3 PC3-10600 RAMs and the maximum amount it supports?
2. Would the 10600 and 8500 difference be significant for my laptop? I use it mainly for web and programs like autocad, no gaming.

Thank you very much!

The ram speed is not going to have a significant difference on total performance. What you have there already is PC3 8500 DDR3 1066MHz.
